The purpose of a Diabetes Daily Diary™ is to help you feel the best you can possibly feel under these circumstances.
When you know your correct blood glucose levels that will allow you to be the most productive you can be and feel your best.
When your blood glucose levels are managed daily by keeping track of meals, medications and activity that affect those levels, you will experience better mental clarity and have more energy. All this is achieved by keeping an organized diary.
This diary is generally useful for any type of diabetic to record daily meals, glucose counts and medications. The columns are; time, meds (any form), vitamins and supplements, blood pressure, units (injected medication/pump rate), glucose levels (up to three per meal), Food/Servings Size of what was eaten for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks, a Miscellaneous column for your use, Calorie/Carb Count and Mood.
Under the columns there are blue boxes for checking off water consumption and sleep.
Then, on the bottom of the form there are lines to write notes for you or your healthcare team.
These notes will tell you what to do differently tomorrow or what you did (ate something new or had a different dose or other factors) that worsened or improved your mood or the way you felt. Order now!
